I tested out the official ActivityPub plugin extensively last year and ultimately decided to put it on pause for multiple reasons. Primarily:

• Inability to get the full AcitivityPub experience without additional plugins that ended up being both too complex and honestly not very well built for my needs.
  • Specifically I wasn’t able to follow other people, see their content and interact
  • No Android native experience

But now I’m hoping to start testing again! I’d really like to use what I’ve built here to not just share content but connect with other people and see what they’re sharing. Something kinda like how Ghost seems to be doing it with their ActivityPub integration.

Anyway, I’ll revisit this with more details later.
