I don’t have a phone, I have a Pocket Computer.

I barely ever call anyone, and that’s honestly the way I like it. Why do we call them “phones”? Why does it cost so much more to have a data plan with an included phone number when I barely ever use it? It’s not really a phone, it’s a pocket computer that happens to have the ability to call.

It’s been really fun and valuable for me to reframe my personal device in this way cuz it’s opening up a world of possibilities and aligning with the other things I’m exploring really well.

I’m creating a personal digital system, brand, and experience for myself and this is a piece of it. In the future I’m very hopeful that we’ll have a bunch of flexible and modular pocket computer options and might even be able to build or customize them ourselves. Whether for repairs, fun, or to better match a mood, current need or whatever. 😍 It’s gonna be a crazy cool thing and I wanna build my own pocket computer that can fold open into a larger screen or something similar and plug in to a monitor so that it can fit all my digital needs and flex with me whatever I need. I’m super excited for this pocket computer future!! I’ve never understood why people are so obsessed with their laptops, they’re pretty bland and restrictive imo
